Under current Australian Tax Office legislation you cannot transfer money into, or out of, your ANZ Salary Packaging Card account except via your salary packaging provider. The ANZ Salary Packaging Card is only valid for point-of-sale transactions.
You can view your card(s) balance at any ANZ ATM. Under current Australian Tax Office legislation you are not permitted to withdraw cash from an ATM with ANZ Salary Packaging Cards.
You can check your card(s) balance by:
Internet: Log on to your cardholder web portal
At any ANZ ATM; or
Telephone: 1800 614 741 (select option 1).
In compliance with Australian Tax Office requirements, transactions made via BPAY are not permitted with ANZ Salary Packaging Cards. If you wish to pay a bill using your ANZ Salary Packaging Card, you can select the credit card payment option at:
the biller or merchant website#, or
via the biller/ merchant phone bill payment service#
Where the biller provides this service/ payment option.

Cash access and withdrawals
Under Australian Tax Office legislation, cash withdrawals are not permitted with ANZ Salary Packaging Cards.
Cash deposits or other credits
Deposits to the ANZ Salary Packaging cards can only be made by your salary packaging provider.
Transactions may be declined as a result of:
The merchant being unable to obtain the required authorisation at the point of sale*;
The merchant has been incorrectly categorised by the merchant’s bank*;
There are insufficient available funds on your ANZ Salary Packaging Card.
In these instances, you may be able to claim these expenses manually. Please contact your salary packaging provider to check if alternative options are available.
Delivery/ sending of cards
Cards are issued and despatched within 3-5 business days of ANZ receiving the required documentation. Delivery time is impacted by your location (metropolitan, country or remote) and is subject to AusPost service and delivery schedules. If you have not received your card within the anticipated time, please contact your salary packaging provider.
Deposit/ credit timings
Credits to your card(s) will appear by the close of business on the day funds have been received from your salary packaging provider. An SMS will be sent to cardholders who have provided a mobile telephone number and who have opted to receive SMS. If you have not received the expected credit to your card, please contact your salary packaging provider.
As a cardholder, you must notify ANZ immediately of a disputed transaction and within 75 days from the transaction date. Transactions can be queried using the web portal under My Requests tab. To dispute a transaction, the cardholder must complete a transaction dispute form within 75 days from when the disputed transaction was made.

Whilst your ANZ Salary Packaging cards can be used anywhere VISA is accepted, this remains subject to the rules of your salary packaging program. To support your salary packaging program policy, some merchant channels may be blocked. For details please contact your salary packaging provider.

You can use your PIN at a point of sale terminal instead of a signature. You are able to use your PIN at any ANZ ATM to check your card balance.
PIN – forgotten or compromised
You can request a new PIN through the web portal or by calling the ANZ Commercial Cards Service Centre on 1800 614 741.
You can receive credit and balance notifications to your mobile phone via Short Message Service (SMS). Your details can be updated via the web portal if you wish to use this service.
